Patient: woman 70 years old, full edentulous lower jaw.
Solution is All-on-4 procedure with following preparation of the removable prothesis on a titanium bar. The bone reduction of irregular lower jaw edges is made. 2 pcs 4,3×9 mm EL C-Tech implants are placed in 31 and 43 positions. 2 pcs 4,3×11 mm EL C-Tech Morse locking implants are placed in 35 and 45 positions under 30° angle. Multi-units for the screw fixation are placed on the implants and covered by healing abutments. The implants are covered with auto-bone and APRF-membranes.
After 3 months, an excellent gingival profile was obtained around the multi-units, casts were taken with closed tray transfers, fitting of titanium bar with a wax model. Fixation of a permanent prosthesis in 7 days.
One of placed implants didn’t get the necessary stability, so it was decided not to load the implants with a temporary prothesis, and the patient agreed to wait 3 months for a final prosthesis. As a result, after a while, all implants have stability over 50 Ncm, an excellent gingival contour and a good pink healthy gum.
It was easy, finally, to get a perfect longterm result. The patient is totally satisfied.
